
His
Eminence the Kagyur Rinpoche Tenzin Lungtok
is the third reincarnation of Kagyur Lama Lineage
of Buddha. He was born in Manali, India in 1968. When
he was just three years old, His Holiness the Dalai
Lama and Nechung Dorje Dagdhen (Protector Deity of
His Holiness the Dalai Lama and Tibetan Government)
both recognize him as an incarnate lama of Kagyur
Rinpoche. Kagyur Lama Lineage is renowned for the
power of extra-sensory perception. From his early
age of two, he started saying that “I am Kagyur
Lama and have come from Tibet”, without learning
he chanted Buddhist sacred mantra and also spoke few
words of Tibetan. This whole change in him amazed
his parents and the people living there.
Later
he joined Drepung Loselling Monastery in Karnataka
in South India, along with thousands of monks where
he completed his higher studies of Buddhist philosophy
from great master like Khensur Rinpoche Pema Gyeltsen,
Shagkor Khen Rinpoche Nyima Gyeltsen etc. he spent
about twenty years of his life in the monastery and
also conferred the Geshe Lharampa ( The Highest Degree
of Tibetan Buddhist Studies).
